Palm Springs Halloween 2007 – Photos
As you know, last night, Oct 31st, was our NATIONAL GAY HOLIDAY……HALLOWEEN!
If you’ve never been to Palm Springs during Halloween, you just have to plan on being here next year. All the guys turn out for it, as well as all the straight folk so they can see the crazy and elaborate costumes.
Arenas Road is “Gay Central” for Palm Springs. In one block we have 6 Gay Bars, 2 Gay Restaurants and 3 Gay Shops. The street is closed off beginning at Noon so that the workers can start setting up the stage and sound system. As soon as the sun goes down, and until midnight, the boyz are out…..and man are they out!
Costumes are judged on various categories, the music is wild their is dancing in the streets and everyone is having a ball. Literally, thousands of participants, locals and tourists jam the street, restaurants and bars. It is a sight to behold.
